Nunzio La Vecchia, Head of Development and Technical Director, presented the world’s first prototype equipped with nanoFlowcell® drivetrain concept in front of more than 100journalists. In addition to the technological aspects, it was also the expressive appearance that thrilled show visitors from around the globe. nanoFlowcell AG was able to secure the services of moderator and motorsports fan Wolfgang Rother – known for his moderations at Sport 1, among other things – as the host of the presentation.
All in all, nanoFlowcell AG welcomed more than 600 journalists to the exhibition stand of the QUANT e-Sportlimousine during the course of the show. The car also met with great interest on the part of the automobile manufacturers and suppliers.
“It was important to us that despite the focus on our innovative drivetrain concept theQUANT e-Sportlimousine excite people with its visionary and sporty design – obviously we succeeded in doing so”, said a delighted Nunzio La Vecchia about the positive reactions of the international media.
This impression was further validated by the media coverage in recent weeks: with more the 5000 stories in 30 countries the QUANT e-Sportlimousine with nanoFlowcell® drivetrain concept has caught the attention of a large audience. About nanoFlowcell AG
Founded in late 2013, nanoFlowcell AG is an innovative Research and DevelopmentCentre based in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. The focus of nanoFlowcell AG’s research is on the advanced development of drive technology and the classification of flow-cell technology. In the simulation laboratory of the nanoFlowcell DigiLab in Zurich, mastermind and development chief Nunzio La Vecchia and his team examine important aspects of quantum chemistry on the basis of molecular engineering. For years they simulated experiments with charge transfer, then conducted trials using digital models, before finally synthesising them for further testing. The current research vehicle, the QUANT e-Sportlimousine, enables the developers to study the mechanisms of charge transfer for the innovative storage technology – the nanoFlowcell® – during vehicle operation, as well as to fine tune charge strategies for recuperation and further develop the regeneration of cell charging and safety as well as quality controls.
